Short description: A rented space in an office building in the central area, but uninspired, needed not only a major redevelopment to function as a high-end law firm, but also a face-lift in atmosphere. Both to project a certain image to clients, but also to create a relaxed and friendly work environment for the lawyers.
The main limitations were space-specific (they are working in individual offices, there is no open-space), natural light, half of the windows being towards an interior atrium, but also budget and time. The customer did not want to invest important amounts in finishes, so the emphasis was on the stand alone pieces of furniture, as well as some statement lamps.
The result has been appreciated, and the office has expanded over the years into additional spaces on the same floor, thus the two following fruitful collaborations in 2007 and 2011 that have extended the same concept in new offices for the expanded team.
